The middle school was upgraded to high school in the year 1988-89. Due to paucity of space, a separate high school building was constructed. This was taken up as the Golden Jubilee Year Project of the Club and was inaugurated in 1994. This is a unique Institution having plans to educate normal and handicapped children together. At present there are 400 students. Vocational Training Centre for the physically handicapped is being started in the same premises. A lot of encouragement is given to the youth through career guidance programmes, elocution/essay/drawing competitions, general knowledge competitions, personality development camps, training in mountaineering, etc,. This is being managed by the Rotary Club of Mysore Educational Foundation, a Trust created by the Club. Five rooms were added to the school as part of the expansion programme and a Facilities Block at a cost of RS.25 lakhs was completed. Rtn. Sanath Kumar the Secretary and correspondent manages the day to day affairs of the School.
